My favorite and most nerdy scrap creature commission yet, "Avogadro's mole" which is a a scientific equation. He was made especially for an awesome chemistry teacher.
Fun, fun job! Enjoyed so much working with George Fulton an amazing photographer and Tim Floyd of Palmetto Healthcare.I had the honor of designing and creating props, costumes and elements to be used in a photo shoot for the skins on PHCs new child transport ambulances. A truly great experience!
Fun interior project, turning a plain brick ranch house fireplace into a fancy "Frenchy" one-The built in and upholstered tuffets on either side of the grate are for two very sweet pups to nap on. Also revamped the bathroom, faux painted and added antique reclaimed spindles from an old Charleston house and other wood trims.(The cabinets were originally the standard white Lowe's press board numbers so popular with contractors) and added a Monet-esque mural.
Low Country Boil" Themed pieces made from discarded construction site materials, found furniture and misc.household goods. the elements are cut carved and painted with all my love! South Carolina makes me happy and beach food makes me happy!
![]() After finding this awesome, but decrepit and undercelebrated china cabinet and as a gift to myself for my 44th birthday, I decided to become my own client and make the dollhouse I'm pretty sure I've always wanted. It's been a couple of months of fun work, and It's getting closer to done-ish. Details, details! Figuring out how to make the bottom drawer sides into a garden shed on one side and a horse stable on the other. I'll post more pics as progress is made! |
